How do I create an account?
Download the Erban X app or visit erbanx.com and tap Sign Up. You can register with your email address or continue with Google. Choose your account type during onboarding — you can always add more account types later from Settings.
What account types are available?
Erban X supports six account types: Individual (personal use), Professional (offering services), Vendor (selling products), Company (business accounts), Institution (schools, hospitals, organisations), and Logistics (delivery providers). Each unlocks different features on the platform.
How old do I need to be to use Erban X?
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on Erban X.
Can I use Erban X on both mobile and web?
Yes. Erban X is available as a mobile app (Android) and on the web at erbanx.com. Your account and data are synced across both.
🛒 For Clients
How do I find and hire a professional?
Use the "Request a Pro" feature to search for professionals by service type and location. Browse profiles, check ratings, portfolio posts, and hourly rates, then send a booking request directly.
How do I track my booking?
All your bookings are in the Bookings tab. Each job shows its current status — Pending, Confirmed, In Progress, or Completed — and you'll receive push notifications at every stage.
What if I'm unhappy with a service?
If there's an issue with a completed job, contact the professional directly through the platform's messaging. If you can't resolve it, reach out to our support team at support@erbanx.com with your booking ID and a description of the issue.
How do payments work?
Payments are processed securely via Paystack. Your card or bank details are handled by Paystack and are never stored on Erban X servers.
💼 For Professionals
How do I set up my professional profile?
After selecting the Professional account type, complete your profile by adding a bio, skills, hourly rate, years of experience, and a profile photo. A complete profile ranks higher in search results and builds client trust.
What is KYC verification and why do I need it?
KYC (Know Your Customer) is an identity verification process required for all professionals before they can accept paid bookings. You'll need to submit your NIN (National Identification Number), which is verified against the NIMC database. This protects clients and keeps the marketplace trustworthy.
How long does KYC verification take?
NIN verification is typically processed within minutes. In some cases it may take up to 24 hours if manual review is required. You'll be notified in the app once your verification is complete.
How do I manage incoming bookings?
New booking requests appear in your Jobs tab. You can Accept or Decline each request. Once accepted, use the status buttons to move the job through the workflow: Confirmed → In Progress → On the Way → Complete.
How do I get paid?
Earnings from completed jobs are credited to your Erban X wallet. You can withdraw to your bank account at any time from the Earnings section. For payout issues, contact support@erbanx.com.
How do I add portfolio work?
Go to your Professional Dashboard → Portfolio tab. Tap the + button to create a post — add up to 10 images, a title, category, description, client name, and completion date. Portfolio posts are publicly visible and help you win more clients.
⚙️ Account & Settings
How do I reset my password?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.
How do I enable biometric login?
Go to Settings → Privacy & Access and toggle on Biometric Login. This uses your device's Face ID or fingerprint sensor. Your biometric data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
How do I change my notification preferences?
Go to Settings → Notifications to control which alerts you receive — bookings, messages, promotions, and more.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data within 30 days. This action cannot be undone. If you only want a break, you can deactivate your availability instead.
💳 Payments & Billing
What payment methods are accepted?
Erban X accepts debit/credit cards and bank transfers via Paystack. All major Nigerian banks are supported.
Are there any fees?
Erban X charges a small platform fee on transactions. The exact fee is shown at checkout before you confirm a booking. There are no hidden charges.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payment processing is handled by Paystack, a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider. Erban X never stores your card details.
I was charged but my booking wasn't confirmed. What do I do?
This can happen due to a network timeout. In most cases the charge is automatically reversed within 3–5 business days. If it isn't, email support@erbanx.com with your booking ID and transaction reference.

Is Erban X available everywhere in Nigeria?
Erban X is available nationwide. However, the availability of professionals and vendors varies by location. Major cities have more service providers listed.
How does Erban X handle disputes between clients and professionals?
Both parties should first try to resolve issues directly through the platform's messaging. If that fails, contact us at support@erbanx.com with your booking ID. Our team reviews disputes and responds within 2 business days.
How is my data protected?
Erban X complies with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and NDPR 2019. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We never sell your personal data. Read our full Privacy Policy at erbanx.com/privacy.
How do I report a user or content?
Use the report button on any profile or booking, or email support@erbanx.com. We take all reports seriously and respond within 24 hours.
